I think lower chassis voltage does not give better sound in all audio systems.I do not why but Some audio systems have better sound with higher chassis voltage . I lost my sound for more than six month only for adjusting ac polarity for lower chassis...

This may have been mentioned already. . . if so, it escaped me. But here's the thing: Each component has its own AC chassis leakage characteristic. This can be measured, and lining every component up by the same polarity produces less noise & hum...
